The host console locks the first buzz it receives, and that team gets the question. Everyone sees the same result on the big screen, so there is nothing to argue about. Quizado does not correct for connection speed, so a player on a very slow connection can be at a disadvantage.

Do players need to install an app?+

No. The buzzer runs in any phone browser. Players scan a QR code and the buzzer screen loads instantly. There is nothing to install or sign up for.

How many players can buzz in at once?+

On a paid plan there is no practical limit - the buzz-in mechanic works the same with 5 teams or 500 players. The free tier caps a game at 16 players.

What happens if a player has a slow connection?+

Their buzz reaches the host console later than a buzz from a fast connection, so they can be at a disadvantage. The host console locks the first buzz it receives and does not adjust for connection speed. Put players on the venue wifi or on mobile data, whichever is steadier.

Can I use the buzzer for non-trivia events?+
